I have recently compiled a list of things that I love and desire. I am normally not very materialistic, and what I do have is 90% hand made by me or friends of mine and a collaborated effort of an entire life time of collecting junk really. But these things sparkle, shine, and climb into my heart's pockets.

AND a black sequined mini skirt. (Actually, I saw one a long time ago in kennedy's etsy shop and it sold quickly. it was blue, but I was jealous. Ken- keep a sharp eye out for me?)

Just got back from a spur-of-the-moment invite to NYC. 3 days of glory, tourism, and strange attraction to a city I don't know, but started a love affair with.

Getting ready for a lunch date with a friend I haven't seen in ages. (case in point, I am getting my belated birthday gift today. My birthday is in august! its been far too long) Lots of friends to say goodbye to before the leap to North Carolina. I will miss everyone so much, but Im very excited to meet new people to miss. Wish me luck!

This is the engagement ring I want. Seriously

I have literally spent most of the day inside. I'll blame it on the constant urge to hibernate in the winter time. The few steps I spent outside walking down to adelle's was biting and bitter. My poor toes felt like they were going to fall off! Im making a pact with myself to work on this blog and make it more of a daily thing, wether it be writing, reporting, or photo-blogging. I think I need to force myself to be a bit more creative and step number one is to create.

Anyway, im making my way through other people's blogs today to get some ideas on how to better represent myself in a way that others might find somewhat inspiring. Im completely drawn to the more fashion- based bloggers, which is strange because it is NOT what im good at. Im more of a visual artist in the way of doodles and drawings. But good lord some people can put togethr some amazing outfits! Kudos. Onward!
